Pressure:    ≤ 350 bar (has been used at even 1000 bar)

Temperature: -30°C...+200°C

Speed:        ≤ 10 m/s

Medium:      Hydraulic fluids

Materials

(1) Hardened steel (approx. 62 Rockwell)

(2) NBR-elastomer

Installation

Is pressed into the groove with a simple tool

Advantages

- Low friction

- Extremely long lifetime (multiple compared to conventional seals)

- Possibility to run over holes and rifles

- Form errors in the cylinder bore do not influence sealing properties

- Guides last longer because the seal ‘improves’the surface roughness of the cylinder bore

- Insensitive to impurities
